14,000 ft., mid-western Nepal, 2003

I was working on a project, setting up a wireless network in the Himalayas. It sounds crazy, I know, but see, I have this genius friend... Anyway, I was there, doing that, and one of the locales for installing network components was a campground at about 13,000 ft. After we finished our work there we were told about a yak herd that was kept about 2,000 feet further up on the mountain. Did we want to go? No question. This photo was taken on the hike up.
